My story at LEONI
My name is Yanpei Li, and I work in the Low-Voltage Wiring Harness Product Department at the R&D center in Langfang. I began my journey with the company in April 2019 and have been contributing to its success ever since.
From 2019 to 2022, my primary focus was on managing the low-voltage wiring harness business for a premium automotive client. In late 2019, I traveled to Germany for plausibility check training, supporting the launch of a major vehicle project and subsequent related business.
In 2020, alongside my regular responsibilities, I actively took on epidemic prevention and control tasks, ensuring all assigned duties were carried out effectively. In 2021, I took on additional responsibilities, including performance testing of domestic Ethernet products, coordination with clients, and trial installations — all of which played a key role in enabling local Ethernet production.
Since 2022, I have been leading technical exchanges for new project bids. At the end of 2022, I successfully secured a new project through persistent efforts, further strengthening our local technical expertise and opening doors for new business growth. I am proud to be part of the team driving innovation and development at the Langfang R&D center.
My job
In essence, our role entails elucidating the technical specifications of products manufactured by Langfang LEONI and facilitating communication and coordination with clients. Whether it's overseeing frontline development within the factory or managing R&D projects, we consistently uphold the technical standards. Acting as a conduit between the factory and clients, we ensure accurate transmission of customer requirements and resolution of production challenges. It's our steadfast commitment to develop products aligning with LEONI's production processes. Additionally, we find excitement in actively pursuing new business opportunities by providing technical support during bidding processes.
My highlights
On the morning of December 26th, 2022, our team received the exhilarating news of our successful project bid. This marked a significant milestone for our research and development department, as our capabilities were recognized through several rounds of technical exchanges with the client. Tears of joy were shed as we celebrated this achievement.
Being the first customer of Langfang LEONI, we understand that opportunities and challenges often come hand in hand. On January 2, 2023, our team embarked on the journey to the client's factory. We encountered various difficulties, faced tight deadlines, and grappled with heavy workloads, often necessitating overtime. Despite these challenges, not a single complaint was heard within the team; instead, we forged ahead together, tackling one obstacle after another.
This experience is truly unforgettable for me personally. As a member of LEONI, I take immense pride in our collective efforts and the embodiment of the ultimate LEONI spirit.
My view of LEONI as an employer
My first encounter with LEONI was at an industry exhibition several years ago. The meticulously designed and expertly manufactured engine wiring harnesses immediately caught my attention and left a lasting impression. Interacting with LEONI colleagues during work engagements further solidified my admiration for their professionalism and dedication, sparking a strong desire to be a part of the team.
Fortunately, I had the opportunity to join LEONI later on. The company's robust development platform and abundant business opportunities provided me with ample space to showcase my skills, leading to a sense of fulfillment in my work. Additionally, the collaborative and supportive environment fostered friendly cooperation between leaders and teams, enhancing my overall work experience.
