Senior Project Manager

Xiaobo Wang, Mechanical Engineer, joined LEONI in 2013, now a Senior Project Manager at China Jining plant.

My story at LEONI

My name is Xiaobo Wang, and I have been with LEONI since 2013. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Initially, I joined LEONI as a process engineer. However, in 2016, I transitioned to the project management team. In 2018, I obtained my PMP certification. Currently, I serve as a senior project manager at the China Jining plant.

What I want to emphasize is the importance of having a solid plan and taking action to achieve success.

My job

Tracking and monitoring project plans are the primary daily tasks for a project manager. It's essential to ensure that project indicators align with our targets. Meetings serve as our most crucial communication tool, allowing us to stay updated on the current status of each functional area and determine necessary corrective actions. As a result, project managers often find themselves either in meetings or in route to another one.

My highlights

I think the special moment for me was in 2017, which was LEONI's first centenary journey. I haven't seen LEONI founded, but I've had the privilege of witnessing its first 100 years, and I'm willing to fight for its second century.

My view of LEONI as an employer

At LEONI, we embrace challenges collectively, working together to excel in our respective roles. Continuous improvement is ingrained in our culture, allowing us to constantly enhance our capabilities. We value open communication, where everyone is encouraged to share their opinions and ideas, fostering a culture of respect and fair discussion. This collaborative environment is integral to our success at LEONI.

LEONI in three words? Family-like, opportunity, energetic.
